Who is Peregrine Rising?

Located in Sanford, North Carolina, Peregrine Rising was founded by Coach Tyler, who holds a Doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology, a Masters in Sport and Health Sciences, and has experience competing in competitive team sports at the collegiate level (ice hockey), in individual sports (triathlon and local CrossFit competitions), in motorsports (rock crawling), and coaching youth sports. He worked as the lead researcher and presenter at Resilience Through Movement Foundation, giving seminars to coaches and athletes on the science behind the benefits of physical activity for mental health. Coach Tyler also gives leadership talks to sports teams and executive teams, sharing his experiences in life, sports, and the military, combined with the contemporary research of sport and performance psychology to demonstrate how mental performance skills go beyond the field and apply to every area of life.

At Peregrine Rising Mental Performance, we believe that building stronger athletes begins with building stronger people. Our mission is to help athletes not only sharpen their mental skills for sport, but also to apply those same skills to life beyond the game. We focus on understanding the unique needs of each individual and team, tailoring our approach to bring out their best. Through personalized strategies, practical tools, and a commitment to growth, we help individuals rise to their full potential on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
