About Peregrine Rising Mental Performance

Located in Sanford, North Carolina, Peregrine Rising was founded by Coach Tyler, who holds a Doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology and has competed in competitive team sports up to the collegiate level, competed in individual endurance and strength sports, competed in motor sports, and has been involved in coaching youth sports. He worked as the lead researcher and presenter at Resilience Through Movement Foundation, giving seminars to coaches and athletes on the science behind the benefits of physical activity for mental health, and he is passionate about supporting communities through sport.

Peregrine Rising Mental Performance is here to help athletes not only sharpen their mental skills for sport, but also apply those same skills to life beyond the game. We focus on understanding the unique needs of each athlete and team, tailoring our approach to bring out their best. Through personalized strategies, practical tools, and a commitment to growth, we help individuals rise to their full potential on the field, in the classroom, and in life.

We believe in mental performance training for performance, recovery from injuries, perseverence in training and when faced with adversity, and in all aspects of life. The skills learned through training with Coach Tyler go beyond the field and become an integrated part of life.
